The main benefit with SafeTsmart's employee management package is the ability to record training and competencies against an individual. You can keep track of the job they hold, the procedures and documents they have been issued and the training or licences received. You can even record health and safety meetings they have attended.
By entering training and expiry dates against an individual, you can receive reminders when these need to be renewed. Where staff are required to hold current licences in order to carry out their jobs, this can be a critical health and safety issue. A quick view of the training database allows you to view who has completed what training and when they need a refresher or update, allowing better planning for future training needs and budgets.
The SafeTsmart database is structured in a way that allows you to search for relevant connections by individual, by job task, by location, or by chemical, plant and equipment (including vehicles). This means you can easily generate a personalised hazard register for each employee showing what competencies they have (or need) and what controls or training needs to be in place.
